What would be a good side for steak?!

Question: What would be a good side for steak?
We are having steak tonight, not sure what cut yet. I really like center cut. What would go well with that. I don't want to do the same old thing (corn, mashed something, veggies) I want something someone had one time and was awesome! Thanks for the help!

Urm, and arugula salad with either blue cheese or, like goat cheese, with sliced cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced red onion, and a spicy (kind of peppery), really citrus-y dressing. Well, this could be the salad!

mushrooms with a nice mushroom sauce, with lightly pan-fried asparagus, a bit of salad, olives, and coleslaw, and bruschetta

stuffed jalapenos, or stuffed fried mushrooms with a horsy mayo dip for either. Twice baked potatoes. Corn nuggets.

Portabella mushrooms and onions sauted with olive oil and some balsamic vinegar.

French fries, mixed vegetables (with soy sauce), salad.

you could do something simple like cut up potatoes with olive oil on them and breadcrumbs and then put them in the oven.

Rice pilaf or noodles with olive oil and some parmesan cheese and herbs sprinkled on.
