Actually butter is worse for you I've done some research and found butter contains more cholesterol and saturated fat it has more then 33 mg of cholesterol in one teaspoon and your only suppose to take 200 mg of cholesterol per day. A healthy amount of saturated fat is 10-15 grams per day and butter contains 7 grams of saturated fat. Making it extremely unhealthy for you. All these people above sadly have it wrong. And actually some margarine's help lower your cholesterol intake by 10- 15% per day.

I think 99 percent of the time, the natural choice is the healthier choice. In moderation, butter is better and that's what my family uses. Just look at that label on the margarine container. What the hell is all of that?!
Butter is a healthier choice because it's natural. Your body can't process margarine effectively because it's artificial.
butter is a natural food. margarine is 1 molecule removed from plastic.
For sure natural butter from a frickin cow. Not margarine. Go organic, no chemicals
