how do I get the chicken skin cooked well when baking it and juicy? is it better to broil or bake it?!
Answers:
When the chicken is done or almost done..put it under the broiler for a few minutes or until the chicken gets crispier...
Hope this helps...
Pat it dry with paper towels before you do anything to it. Then pour a bit of melted butter over the chicken, rub it over the skin, and bake it. If it's a whole chicken, 1 1/2 to 2 hours, individual pieces for 1 hour. Be sure the chicken is dry before you put the melted butter on it, and the skin will be crispy and delicious!
Turn the oven on 350. Pat the chicken dry and brown it skin side down in a very hot saute pan with a little oil. Turn the chicken over, and put it in the oven on a bed of roughly cut celery, onion, and carrots. Bake for about 30 minutes. I guarantee it to be juicy on the inside, and crisp outside!
