Can I buy fondant or do I have to make it?!

Question: Can I buy fondant or do I have to make it?
I want to make a really nice cake for my birthday.

Answers:

Purchase at craft stores or Wal-Mart the Wilton brand that does not taste good or make your own. I included recipes.

Most craft stores carry readymade fondant, but you can make it yourself too. It's pretty easy.

On a side note, while fondant looks really nice and can make a cake/cupcakes look special or cool or whatever, I personally think it tastes kind of gross. Or maybe it's not the taste so much as it is the texture. And I know I'm not the only one who feels that way, so you might be better off just getting creative with regular frosting and icing with different piping tips and techniques and all.

You can buy it, ready-to-roll. Places like JoAnn's or Michaels carry it. Party stores might, or anywhere with a special "cake-making" section. Actually, I think even Wal-Mart carries it!

i don't think fondant is a good taste if you buy it, try making it which is better because you never know what happens, your fondant cake might taste delicious.
HOPE I HELPED...:)

you can buy fondant at almost any grocery store. Just go ask somebody who works there or go to the bakery. And, happy early birthday! :)
