Tapping trees for maple syrup?!

Question: Tapping trees for maple syrup?
I was hoping to start tapping trees for maple syrup. If I order the necessary gear to start, and it arrives here in a week, will I still have time to collect syrup? I live in CT, and the average temperatures now are about 35 degrees F. in the day and 20 at night.

As long as your temperatures are above freezing during the day and below at night you should be able to draw out some sap.
