Question: Does anyone know of recipe i could make that uses no cooker, microwave, or fridge/freezer?
Hi i am doing an activity with a cadet group where they need to cook a meal (starter/main/dessert), but we wont have a cooker, microwave, fridge or freezer. we do have boiling water so we can melt chocolate etc. i need 5 recipes and i already have four. these are : rice crispie cakes, eton mess, strawberry and banana smoothie, sour cream and chive +tomato salsa dip. i need one more recipe that wont take any longer than one hour to make. Hope you can help me ! :)

If you have boiling water, you can actually make omelettes!
We did this with our Boy Scout troop.
Each scout takes a ziplock freezer bag (has to be the freezer kind) and puts in a couple of eggs and about 1/2 tsp water per egg. You close the bag and squeeze it around till the eggs are all mixed up. Open the bag and add cheese, ham, veggies, whatever you want in your omelette.
Then the bags are put in the pot of boiling water for a few minutes until the eggs are cooked through. Don't put in too many bags at the same time as that cools the water down too much.



Fettuccine Alfredo
Ingredients
8 ounces dried fettuccine
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup whipping cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Grated or finely shredded Parmesan cheese (optional)
Directions
1. Cook fettuccine according to package directions.
2. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan melt butter. Add cream, salt, and pepper. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat and boil gently for 3 to 5 minutes or until mixture begins to thicken. Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. Drain pasta. Add pasta to hot sauce. Toss to combine. Transfer to warm serving dish. Serve immediately. If desired, sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese, Makes 4

Jessica Delaney's Peanutty Wrapple Rolls With Maple Dipping Sauce

a.. 12-inch flour tortilla, burrito size (10-inch size is also fine)
b.. 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
c.. 2 tablespoons crisp rice cereal
d.. 1 tablespoon brown sugar, packed down
e.. 2 tablespoons canned apple-pie filling, or 2 tablespoons fresh apples, finely chopped


For Maple Dipping Sauce:
a.. 1/4 cup maple syrup
b.. 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
c.. 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Spread tortilla with peanut butter. Spread apple or apple-pie filling over .5 of peanut-buttered tortilla. Next, sprinkle on cereal and brown sugar. Starting at edge with apple filling, roll up tightly and cut into 4 segments.

Mix together dipping-sauce ingredients and serve in a bowl with the sandwich rolls.
