can I please have your recipes for white sauce?!

Question: Can I please have your recipes for white sauce?
I want a recipe for a white lasagne sauce usually I dont like home made white sauces, they remind me of cauliflower cheese, when i was little, which makes me feel sick.

I've seen some recipes that use a ricotta cheese. anyway, id like to know how you make it.

the recipes given are correct, but I would add about 1/2 c. of parmesan cheese for the lasagne. Spinach would be an excellent addition to this. Also, for any white sauce a pinch of nutmeg is a good addition.

You need-

200g flour
200g butter
milk
1onion
bayleaf
4cloves
White wine
Double Cream
Cheese (i use cheddar)

Peel your onion, then put the bayleaf on the side and pin it to the onion with the cloves.
Put the onion into a pan with the milk (do about 1litre) And heat (dont boil)
You want to get the milk to the temperature of a hot bath.

Now you want to melt your butter in a thick bottomed pan. Once melted, slowly add your flour and mix with a wooden spoon. It will form a kind of paste like mix.

Then start to add your milk, a little bit at a time, whilst mixing to avoid getting lumps. Keep adding milk untill you have a thin sauce consistency ( you may need more than 1L), and add a dash of white wine

You then need to cook this until you cant taste the flour in it anymore (approx 20mins)
If it is lumpy, strain through a sieve.

Then add some double cream, your cheese and salt/pepper.

Gently heat and stir until cheese is melted.

Im a chef

2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 dash white pepper
1 cup milk

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Gradually whisk in the milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Use immediately or refrigerate.

White sauce does not have cheese in it....

2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup milk
white or black ground pepper

Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat; stir in flour. Cook for 3 minutes, but do not brown.

Stir in milk and continue cooking over low heat, stirring constantly, until sauce begins to thicken. Season with pepper.

Add a tablespoon or two of heavy cream for a richer sauce...

That is basic white sauce.............
