What to eat with homeade French fries?!

Question: What to eat with homeade French fries?
What else can I eat with oven baked fries besides hamburgers or hot dogs.
No meat please,I'm vegeterian or bread. Also no pasta.
Any ideas?

Answers:

I like the idea of topping your french fries with something such as gravey and melted cheese. You might consider:

1. Vegetarian chili, with chopped onions and cheese
2. Vegetarian meatballs with barbecue sauce
3. Sauteed portobello mushrooms, onions, yellow peppers, soy chicken strips
4. Boca Burger Classic with cheese
5. Caesar Salad
6. If you eat fish, then how about baked fish filets?
7. Homemade ketchup and other dipping sauces
8. Mozarella sticks with marinara
9. Tempura veges
10. Stuffed baked mushrooms

fries are wonderful with the same stuff you would eat on nachos, or even gravy. You could make a fast bean salad (protein) rinsed canned beans, chopped celery, green pepper, carrots, maybe some cheese and a oil and vinegar dressing with oregano sprinkled over..

Anything you want.

Sandwiches.

Vegiatarian sloppy joes or chili

Broccoli cheese sauce

Make them up like nachos

They r3eally can be a side to anything you want.

Tofu?
french fries and meat are like pasta and sauce. they just go together. substitute the meat with a well prepared recipe of tofu.

I guess!! I'm not vegetarian.

Chili-cheese fries (as has been suggested)--just use the veggie chili, some cheese and onions.

For me, it would be either that or eating the fries plain.

Maybe.. You should and probably could eat a Manwich?? Personally I've never tried them, but that doesn't mean you can't!! P.S. Homemade french fries are Delicious!

Poutine (Canadian dish) - fries with gravy and melted cheese. Yum.

Vegetarian chili Rachel Ray had a recipe on it in her "top 10" cooking book..

Veggie chili is sold by the can at the store.
Perhaps some cheddar cheese on top w/chopped onions.
