What's a good nonfat mayo substitute to use with tuna?!

Question: What's a good nonfat mayo substitute to use with tuna?
I do like tuna, and I need the protein, but sometimes it just tatstes too dry to me.
Obviously, I want to avoid extra fats, I'm a strict dieter for ballet... So, what gets the job done?
What can give it that moist creamy kind of tang taste that also won't clash.

I was thinking of nonfat green strained yogurt with some lemon and salt.

Salt is not a problem for me, I have very low blood pressure.

Is there anything else?
Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks a lot :)

Answers:

If you use greek yogurt you don't need to strain it since it is already so thick.

You can also buy light mayo, mayber mix a little of the light mayowith the yogurt. Say tsp or two into the yogurt.

Lemon is good and so is mustard, wich has no fat but a Lot of flavor.

If you want something moist, creamy, and tangy, choose your favorite plain yoghurt. I used to use Dannon low-fat youghurt in my tuna salad and, while it is strictly a matter of taste, I was always happy with the results

Hold back a bit on salt and lemon because tuna is already pretty salty. Too, lemon juice is a substitute for salt. Add some lemon zest and pepper, or lemon-pepper to a bit of the mixture and see what you like.

I also love scallion and green olives in my tuna

there is non fat or low fat mayo available and it tastes pretty good.
Check it out.
Also, I like low fat ranch dressing on tuna for a nice sandwich. It gives it a totally different flavor and you don't need much of it at all.

I have found that the name brand low fat dressings and mayos taste better than the store brands of these.

plain unflavored greek yogurt fat free

this may sound weird, but if you love peanut butter like i do, then peanut butter and tuna and apples, celery and grapes tastes amazzing! believe me..it works even better with chicken instead of tuna.

cottage cheese

there mayo made with olive oil which is alot healthier

Dijonnaise it's a mix of mayonnaise and a tiny bit of mustard. They sell it at the store and it extremely low in calories. Check it out!

How about mixing tuna up with some nonfat cottage cheese?
