Does anyone know how to add instant pudding mix to boxed cake mix?!

Question: Does anyone know how to add instant pudding mix to boxed cake mix?
I remember there used to be a recipe on boxes that adds instant pudding mix to the cake mix and add other ingredients to make the cake more moist. I never tried it before but I wanted to try it now. Does anyone know what else I'm suppose to be adding to the cake mix and its measurements? Also can you do this with cakes from scratch?

Answers:

I do this a lot. Just add the package of pudding mix to the dry cake mix. Then when you add the wet ingredients you use extra. If the recipe calls for milk or water, use 1/4 cup more than the directions say. Also you can use unsweetened apple sauce instead of oil to make a cake mix more moist...and more healthy!

I love to cook!

If your mix requires oil just dump the pudding in and blend and bake as usual.
If your mix does not require oil add 1/3 cup with the pudding.

Good luck!
