How can I fry with a stainless steel pot?!

Question: How can I fry with a stainless steel pot?
Tried it today with a little oil, it burned completely :( Took me an hour to scrub it off. If possible, also suggest what I can make with my pots that is suitable for college... It needs to be quick.

Answers:

When you are deep-frying, your pot should be at least 4 quarts so that you can use 3 quarts of oil. The oil should be brought up to 350 to 375 degrees which you can monitor with a deep-fryer thermometer that sits in the oil and clips to the side of the pan.

The type of oil matters too. Make sure you aren't using extra virgin olive oil which can breakdown at even moderately high temperatures.

Always use non stick pots for frying. Those are best. And if ur frying in stainless steel be there and let it not stick to the bottom.Don't let the oil heat up much.

You can fry in stainless steel pot but the heat was way too high.
Get a teflon pot with the rest of your pots.

Stainless is great cooking medium especially if its clad around aluminum or copper sounds like u had the heat up to high
