Is there a way to make angel food cake with egg yolks?!

Question: Is there a way to make angel food cake with egg yolks?
I'm trying to make an angel food cake but I have no use for 12 egg yolks, so does anyone know a good way to incorporate them or to make something with them to compliment an angel food cake?

Answers:

There are plentyy of good ways to use up the eggs.

Add an extra yolk per egg to omlets for french toasst batter.

Custard style pudding

Meatloaf

Whisk with a little milk or butter milk for an egg wash for breading various meats/protien for deep frying.

Home made ice cream

Use in cakes.... use 1 whole egg and 1 egg yolk.

****You can also buy just egg whites in a little carton at the grocery store.

My favorite use for egg yolks is the delicious, but fattening, hollandaise sauce! You can serve it over meat, veggies, or on Eggs Benedict. You can also make Bernaise sauce, equally delicious.

If you add egg yolks then it wouldn't be an Angel Food Cake

Look for a cake recipe that has the ingredients you have on hand, or get the ingredients you need

Custard or a custard sauce is a great answer. You can also freeze the yolks in an ice cube tray and use them when you need them.

Use the yolks to make a pound cake. A typical pound cake recipe calls for 12 yolks.

a custard
