How do I cook spinach?!

Question: How do I cook spinach?
I know this sounds stupid but my mom wants me to use up the spinach leaves and they taste nasty plain. When she makes spinach I think she like boils it and puts a little bit of butter on it. Is that all I have to do? I'm clueless at this stuff! Please answer my question! My dad has no clue how to do it and I don't want to bother her because she's at work....

Wow, my mom cooks it all the time but I have no idea how she does it either! [:
I'm not a real fan of it, but it's really good for you, especially for your eyes! :)
Anyway, I'm sure you could have done this yourself, but I just googled spinach recipe and here's one of the best results I got:

Good Luck!! :)

Put some butter in a saute of frying pan,get hot, add the spinach and let it cook down , it only takes a few minutes, add some S&P and a small pinch of garlic, just enough to flavor not over power it and then sit down and ENJOY. I hope this helps...... or you could make like sweet and sour sauce available in most cookbooks under the salad dept.

Rinse it clean under running water then put the leaves - still wet - into an open pan which has a little butter melted in it - then just push the leaves down and let them cook gently for a couple of minutes. It's not so much a case of cooking them as merely "wilting" them.

Okay this one is simple.
2 tablespoons of oliver oil
2 tablespoons lemon pepper
1 tablespoon of sea salt
small onion chopped
Heat pan add oil and onion saute until it turn light yellow
Add spinach and lemon pepper stirring twice. cook 4 min.
Add sea sea salt cook l more min,
server
Enjoy.

Boiling is fine, steaming is good, sauteeing or frying works too. The point is to cook it so that it has the most nutrition.

Try steaming them instead of boiling, or try this web page

The best way to do it is to saute it in extra virgin olive oil and garlic until it just wilts.

Next time, wilt it in a small amount of butter in a pan.

Or make a soup with cresson.
