Can i plant the seeds from the butternut squash i boughtat the store?
I bought a butternut squash at the store, it was so good i want to plant the seeds. Can you tell me how to do this?

Answers:

If you bought it at the store, and if it was seeds selling, then yes. Plant 'em! Just put them in dirt and water them, put them outside or near the window ceil

You should post your question for the Home & Garden category, but yes, the seeds in your butternut squash can be sprouted and planted and produce more squash. Of course your climate and "gardening zone" will really determine the success, but seeds in fruits and vegetables are not dormant or sterile and can be planted.
