How do you like your shrimp?!

Question: How do you like your shrimp?
I bought some fresh shrimp two days ago and I'm just defrosting them. Can I eat them raw or slightly cooked? How should I cook them apart from frying with garlic? Also what to have on the side? a simple green salad? or some sauce of some kind. I'm not familiar with sauces at all.
What's your favourite way of cooking them?

Answers:

Steak & grilled shrimp is good together, boiled shrimp is good with boiled potatoes & corn on the cob.

shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That- that's about it, and hey after our service is up you wanna open up a shrimpin boat company?

Check the package...some shrimp you buy is already pre-cooked...so all you need to do is heat through...Or you can eat cold as in shrimp cocktail....

I like shrimp just about any way it is fixed.....

You can heat a large skillet over medium high heat....Add olive oil, garlic, red pepper flakes, and shrimp....Season...Cook shrimp 3 minutes or until just pink....Toss with lemon zest, juice, & chopped parsley....you can eat with rice or pasta...

Happy cooking..................

I like shrimp cooked with direct heat best. The light browning adds a lot of flavor and it also looks great to serve. Direct heat typically tossing them with a spice blend and olive oil and either grilling them or broiling them.

breaded coconut shrimp is my favorite. Grilling them is also good.

sauté in a light buttery sauce with caramelized onions.
