If made small enough, would it be possible to make pancakes in a flat-bottom wok or would the 'cakes just burn?!

Don't have a frying pan I can use unfortunately.

Answers:

Sure you can. Just make sure that you turn the heat to med. low as a wok is usually very thin so that it will cook foods quickly. NOTE: I'm sure you have your own way of making pancakes. One thing I do when I make mine is that I automatically add in about 1 T. of veg. or peanut oil to the batter as I'm making it and that way I don't have to oil the pan each time. It works great.

I'm a personal chef.

oil the wok well, you can either make the pancakes in the middle flat part of it or if it's round, pour the batter gently on the sides making sure it hardens before it slides to the middle.

Make sure you put enough oil in and I see no reason why they would burn. Yumm, pancakes!
