Healthy salad recipes for a runner?!

Question: Healthy salad recipes for a runner?
So i go running about a minimum of 3 times a week(depending on my schedule), i have been eating really healthy but at the same time losing weight.. i am trying to bulk up for track, right now i am under weight which i am mad about. but i dont wanna cut out my salad entrees away, so does anyone know some good healthy salad recipes that i can eat that wouldn't be like eating salad as if i were on a diet?

Answers:

Include lots of protein in them, and it tastes great too. Like chicken and pecans, almonds or walnuts. I also love adding fruit into my salads, like chopped apples, pears, dried cranberries, mandarin oranges. And cheese will help bulk them up too. All these ingredients taste really good with a raspberry vinaigrette too. You can also candy the nuts (toss them in a pan and cook them with some butter and brown sugar) which was make your taste buds sing it is so good! You can also make your own croutons by buttering bread and sprinkling garlic salt and put it in the broiler for a few minutes. Then cut into squares or slices. You can also add grilled steak, shrimp, rice, and beans to bulk it up and add flavor and nutrients. One of my favorite salads right now is to toss some cabbage and broccoli with mayo and a chopped apple and either craisins or raisins and salt and pepper and walnuts and chicken. Okay, now I'm getting hungry!

Add grains like quinoa or barley to your salads for a boost of carbs and nutrients. Also, since you're worried about getting more calories, adding some cheese or meat or tofu to your salads will bulk them up as well.
