what are the thin pink and white swirled ingredients in prawn/seafood udon soup?!

Question: What are the thin pink and white swirled ingredients in prawn/seafood udon soup?
I had a prawn tempura udon soup at a japanese restaurant the other day and plan to make my own udon sup (with a slight variation) but i dont know what the thin slices of pink and white swirled ingredient was. i had a feeling it was crab meat or a seafood of some sort but can u tell me what it actually is? (it didnt taste gross but with all the other flavors in the soup i wasnt sure what it was but had that same texture n chewy-ness like cooked prawns)

Answers:

It's made from whitefish. Pretty much the same thing as artificial crab legs that you find in the seafood section at the market.
