Is it okay to NOT put eggys in the fridge and put them in the cupboard instead?!

Question: Is it okay to NOT put eggys in the fridge and put them in the cupboard instead?
Answers:

Most egg cartons say to refrigerate, So i would just listen to the carton lol, I think that the only reason they are supposed to be is because they have been shipped and stuff and the fridge keeps their shelf life longer

in the U.S., if you buy eggs, odds are that they have been washed and the protective coating that is naturally on them has been removed. that's why we keep them in the fridge.

if you just pulled them out of the nest and haven't washed them, you can just wipe them with a cloth to remove the chicken poo and store them in a basket in a cool, dark area.

or you could do this... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Century_egg

Yes but you run the risk of it getting too warm in the cupboard (on hot and humid days) If you can guarantee the cupboard will stay cool and dry, they will be fine.

You could keep them in the cupboard if they're very fresh, and your going to use them within a couple of days. Usea lower shelf in the cupboard, where it's cooler

No. they need to be kept at a temperature of 36°F-41°F. Otherwise, you won't wanna crack those babies open after a while.

It should be fine i think, just don't let them get too warm.

no salmonella is common in raw eggs and in spoiled raw eggs who knows what exists

Er, no. For real, chill them.

Eggs can be kept in a cool place.
For baking that is very important.

they will spoil
