what is the name of this pastry recipe?!


Question: What is the name of this pastry recipe?
Okay I don't know the name of this recipe, but it is a dough that can be piped onto a cookie sheet in decorative shapes, and when it is baked it's typically used for garnishing pastries. Does anybody know what I'm talking about?

Answers:

Perhaps you are referring to choux dough which is used to make cream puffs and often times they make swans from them by piping the dough in the shape of the swans head and neck and baking it on a cookie sheet. I have also seen them make basket handles so the cream puff looks like a basket. Here is a site showing the puff swans and telling how they were made:

typically sugar cookies are used with cookie-presses
