Answers:

You can put this with any type of pasta, it can go with seafood (but it's a myth that it must have it, the name comes from feeding the Italian sailors, not that seafood is included in the food), It can be used as a pizza base, a dipping sauce, You can put it with some veal or meat of your choice. Portobello mushroom is also a good addition.
I usually like to add in some spinach salad side to the dish.
l also take sliced french bread and brush it with Italian dressing then top off with Mozzarella and bake till the cheese is bubbly.

1/4 cup of EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)
3 cloves of garlic sliced up in half
35oz of imported Italian tomatoes (you need a quality product here)
Sea Salt & Fresh Ground Pepper to taste
3-5 fresh basil leaves, washed, diced up finely

Place your garlic and EVOO in a large sauce pan.
Turn heat to medium and cook up the garlic till soft and lightly browned.
Crush the tomatoes in the meantime and add it in with the juices as well.
Fill up the empty tomato can 1/4 of the way with water and add it in to to the tomatoes mix.
Season with sea salt & ground pepper (remember you can add more but can't easily subtract so taste it as you go).
Bring it up to a boil, then lower to a simmer and cook until thickened (maybe 20 min).
Add your fresh chopped basil and simmer just a bit more.

Any kind of pasta will work (spaghetti, penne, angel hair...). Garlic bread and a salad will be great with that pasta.

Marina sauce? That must be seafood. I like shrimp, wine, butter and herbs. Good stuff.
