Jessica: You know of course that the ingredients for a pie would depend on what kind of pie you want, right. You know that Milo is just kidding with you. Don't try to make that pie.

I looked at your profile and some of your past questions so I know you are young and may not really have cooking experience.

If that is the case, just buy a ready made pie crust and a pie filling of your liking and following the cooking instructions on the package. Easy.

The crust is flour, shortening/lard/margarine/butter/oil, water ... bit of salt. Most pie crusts are made using shortening. I add a bit of baking powder to the flour and a bit of vinegar to the water.

GOOD pie crust is difficult to make from scratch ... the more you handle it, the tougher it gets. Unless you are making an experimental pie, try buying pre-made crust.

The filling can be just about anything, from a fruit pie to a meat pie to a quiche (egg custard) to a cream pie (pre-baked crust and pudding added) to a meringue-topped pie. Fruit usually has sugar added, a bit of almond flavoring for a cherry pie, a bit of cinnamon for an apple pie. Thickening can come from instant tapioca or cornstarch, or none at all (with apples). The fruit is often dotted with butter before the top crust. The bottom of the oven is protected from fruit juice bubbling out and burning onto the oven floor.

Google a recipe. Even better, check out You Tube for informative videos that will help your pie turn out for you.

that depends on what kind of pie.
