My dough did not rise much, should I punch it down now or wait another 1-2 hours?!

Question: My dough did not rise much, should I punch it down now or wait another 1-2 hours?
According to the recipe it should be punched now.

Answers:

yes, keep punching it until ir rises

Dough rises better at 86 degrees Farenheit so you should check the temperature in your house or wherever your bread is. If the temperature is high enough then punch it down and wait for it to rise again and it should be fine.

That happened to me yesterday....I was letting it rise in a warm oven...I heated the oven again and it did rise the second time...

Maybe try that...............

Good luck..............

let it rise another hour then punch it down
