i saw a cooking programme,?!

Question: I saw a cooking programme,?
the other day where they cooked a cheese in a wooden box,I believe the cheese was sold in it but i missed the name of the cheese, while i know there are a few cheeses sold in these boxes i dont know which ones can be melted in this way,it was used as a sort of a dip could anyone help please

Answers:

The only one I have seen cooked in a box is Camembert - Le Rustique is readily available in supermarkets - and like Janet said, is delicious when studded with garlic cloves. However, having made this myself, I am not sure that it is suitable for a dip as it would be be too thick.

It's Camembert, and it's delicious if you poke some garlic into the cheese before heating it, then serve with crusty bread

Sour cream cheese is used as a dip, and is normally served in a box/tub?

Camembert, most definitely.
