Meatloaf is the simplest recipe to make because there is no wrong way to make it.
If you have the basics: Ground meat, 2 to 4 eggs, and bread crumbs, you can add anything else you like.
Tomato sauce or catchup, salt, pepper, garlic, grated apples, grated carrots, onions, peppers, and anything else you might have left over from the night before.
Just wing it and you can't lose.

Try hiding whole hard boiled eggs inside. It makes for a tasty surprise and looks nice when you slice it.

Best-Ever Meat Loaf
2 eggs
2/3 cup milk
3 slices bread, torn
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup grated carrot
1 cup shredded Cheddar or mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
1 teaspoon dried basil, thyme or sage (optional)
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
TOPPING:
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
Directions
1.In a large bowl, beat eggs. Add milk and bread; let stand until liquid is absorbed. Stir in the onion, carrot, cheese and seasonings. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well.
2.Shape into a 7-1/2-in. x 3-1/2-in. x 2-1/2-in. loaf in a shallow baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.
3.Combine the topping ingredients; spoon half of the mixture over meat loaf. Bake 30 minutes longer or until meat is no longer pink and a meat thermometer reads 160 degrees F, occasionally spooning remaining topping over loaf. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

Just search"meatloaf recipes". Afterall, unless you're wanting to win the "Iron Chef" award, remember a meatloaf is only a glorified and oversized hamburger. But, I will say I prefer ground chuck, and don't forget you can put potatoes, carrots and onions on the side of it while cooking.

one package of ground beef. in a bowl add one egg, quarter cup of bread crumbs, one teaspoon garlic powder, onion powder. along with half a finely chopped onion. mix into the meat add more crumbs if its too loose. after your done mixing the meat. grate about a cup of cheese, add some corn, mushrooms, and peppers. anything you like. in your meatloaf pan put half of your meat mixture and spread it on the bottom of the pan. make it kinda like a boat. make sure the sides are a little higher. in the middle, add your cheese and veggie mixture. take the rest of your meat and pack it on top in patches. so there are no openings or holes. bake for one hour at 325. its delicious!

get some hamburger meat and put bread crums on it (you'll know when enough is enough) and then put some pepper on it, then some salt, stuff chopped pieces of garlic in it and anything else you would want in it like peppers and onion etc etc. other than that after garlic you put an egg in it and mix around and then some mustard. then you just shape it and put it in the oven:) i didn't give measurments because it's to your liking.
