How to keep blondies soft?!

Question: How to keep blondies soft?
I found a recipe for chocolate chip blondies and I want to take a batch to school. I did a trial run to make sure they were okay, and they seemed fine, until the next morning when they were hard as rock. I know I can put them in the microwave to soften them up, but I won't have access to a microwave at school. Does anyone have any ideas how to keep them soft, just for one day, because I'll make them the night before.

Answers:

Wait for them to cool and put them in an air tight tupperware container with a slice of white bread. It works every time.

Good luck!

Keep them stored, uncut, in the pan you bake them in, with an airtight lid. The microwave would only make them soft for a few minutes then you would have a brick. You should also take 3-5 minutes off your baking time. Make sure your oven temp is accurate too.

I always use pkg. instant vanilla pudding when mixing batter.

grandma always done it when she made cookies

airtight container with a few pieces of bread with lock in the moisture thus keeping them soft :)

Add apple sauce to the mixture it will keep them moist.

cool then put in an air tight container
