Answers:

Start with the chicken, put enough water in the pot to cover the chicken, add salt and garlic (if you like) to it for flavor. Bring to a boil, cook until the chicken is no longer pink. If the bone is on remove meat from the bone then dice, if not dice chicken into bit size pieces and put back in pot reduce heat to medium, then add noodles and cook until tender, depending on type of noodles about 10 minutes for egg noodles. Also, for more flavor add chicken bouillon cubes, pepper and salt to taste, italian seasoning if you like. Are you adding vegetables?

Myself

Here is a super easy recipe I do when I'm on the run. You will need:

8 cups water
2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken meat
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 sticks of celery chopped
3 cloves crushed garlic
1 white onion roughly chopped
4 carrots, sliced
1 (16 ounce) package noodles
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste

Here it goes...
In a large pot, boil water, chicken, onion, and garlic for 1 hour. If you wanna add other spices this is the time to do it. Next you add carrots, celery, oil, and noodles; boil for 20 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste. Good Luck and Enjoy!

CHICKEN AND NOODLES
www.coesnoodles.com
Ingredients

?1 whole chicken (3-5 pounds)
?2 cloves garlic, diced
?1/2 medium onion, diced
?3 tablespoons butter
?juice of 1/2 lemon
?1 teaspoon salt
?1/2 teaspoon pepper
?egg noodles, purchased or prepared (as directed)
Directions

1.Fill a large pot half full with water. Add garlic, onion, butter, lemon, salt, pepper and chicken.
2.Cover and heat on medium-high to boiling. Reduce to medium to avoid boil over.
3.Continue medium boil for approximately 2-2 1/2 hours, adjusting time according to the size of the chicken. Check the temperature with a meat thermometer to ensure proper doneness.
4.Carefully move the chicken to a baking or serving dish, and keep it warm in the oven at a low temperature (less than 200 degrees Fahrenheit).
5.Keep broth for noodles, removing extra broth (freeze for use in future recipes). Broth should just cover the noodles.
6.Boil noodles to desired consistency (approximately 15-20 minutes). Watch the noodles, and stir frequently. Add broth, if necessary to keep the noodles covered. If there is too much broth when the noodles are done, drain any excess and/or add flour to thicken

-cut the chicken in small cubes and all the other vegetables you want to use (ex.red/green/yellow etc. peppers, mushrooms, onion, or even carrot-i like it a lot!)
-fry the chicken into sesame oil and then add the vegetables starting from the ones that need more time to be cooked
-add white dry wine and soy sauce and let them in lower fire until chest
-in the meantime boil water and about 5mins before the vegetables and chicken are ready, put the noodles in the water
-after 5-6mins the noodles must be ready.take them out of the water and put them in the sauce with vegetables and chicken you prepared

*mix and eat;)

my father's a cook;)

Well if you're talking about those noodle pack things then here's how i do it-

I check on the packet to see how much water I need. I pour that amount of water + a little more (because some of it evaporates) into the cooking/boiling pot.

I then put in the sauce they provide

I then wait for it to boil and then add the noodles.

After you're down, I add the chicken meat is white, you know it's done :)
