How the heck do you eat broccoli ?!
Answers:
you can eat it raw or steamed or added to other food dishes.
Rinse.
Cut off and discard the bottom half of the stalk (it is too woody).
Cut the remainder up, crosswise of lengthwise.
Steam or boil 5-7 minutes.
Melt a bit of butter in the microwave. Add a squeeze of lemon juice (real, or "plastic"lemon) and stir with the butter.
Pour over your broccoli.
I also like to steam up broccoli and cauliflower and carrot. Put the carrot in 7 minutes before the broccoli and cauliflower.
To eat broccoli raw ...
Cut into pieces. Serve with a small bowl of Ranch dressing for dipping the broccoli into.

1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon roasted walnut oil or olive oil
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
Dash black pepper
Steam the broccoli just until tender
In a small saucepan, heat the butter and oil; add minced garlic, red onion, and lemon juice.....Toss with the broccoli along with the salt and pepper.....
That is about as simple as it gets...............
Steam it, eat it as a side along with some chicken or potatoes, drizzle it in cheese after steaming it, dip it raw in some ranch dressing (admittedly not the healthiest choice)... lots of things to do with broccoli. Broccoli and cauliflower make delicious veggies to dip in dressing.
My favorite ways are:
- Tossed with olive oil, salt and garlic and roasted for about 15-20 minutes at 400 (remove when just beginning to brown)
- Blanched and and then sauteed with garlic and tossed with penne and sliced hot sausage
- Raw dipped in a ranch dip
-Sauteed in oil for a few minutes and then spash some stock over them and cover to steam for 2 minutes. Serve drizzled with sesame oil

- eat it raw with some vegetable dip
- cut it into florets and steam it and then either 1. eat it with a cheese sauce or 2. sautee some minced garlic on olive oil and toss the steamed broccoli florets in it.
boil it for five minutes. Drain. Add a little butter or oil, and salt pepper and whichever topping you like, although I prefer it plain.

I'd cook the Florette's in some Butter(not Margarine) with some Garlic and some Bacon bits, that sounds good then just before serving I'd put some cheese on it like (mozzarella)
you can eat it raw with other vegies like a salad i dont like it raw so i team it up with carrots are other vegies add a pinch of salt, it taste way better then raw

i, personally, like it steamed. you could also put seasonings on it (salt, pepper, seasoning salt,Ect.)

Boil it, cut off any leaves on the stem.
