Question: I NEED FONDANT, WHAT'S THE BEST PRICE!!!!?

Hi, I want to buy some fondant but I don't have a bunch of money. What are the prices for fondant and gum paste at Michael's craft store and Walmart? Is there any fondant at Meijer's?? prefer to buy Wilton's fondant and gum paste.

Its really expensive... its like $20 for a little bag of it, either try your local bakery and see if they sell fondant or make it yourself the ingredients are cheap, that is why i dont understand why online & at michaels or joaanns it is such a rip off..

I have never seen it at Walmart
I don't have a Meijer's

prices for food products in national chains vary by location greatly

i would suggest either contacting your local stores or going there to compare prices.

Here is a list of prices of Wilton fondant in all kinds of sizes.

They sell the 24 ounce Wilton Fondant at Meijer's in the cake pan aisle in kitchen ware. It's roughly 7 - 8 dollars.
