Question: Looking for secret recipes....?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any good leads on some good recipes or secret recipes that the high class restaurants use? I am cooking for my family and I was looking for some advice on it. anybody?

My Father owned an Italian restaurant for many years and told me to always keep it simple. Although this is the case with most recipes (especially Italian food) it is still a good idea to know what level of expertise you will need. The more ingredients the greater the chances of messing it up.

There are cookbooks out there by author 'Todd Wilbur' that are called 'Top Secret Restaurant Recipes'. He has broken down many of the big name chain places and passed them on to us. Go to a bookstore and take a glance through tem. I have 2, different recipes in both.
