What are the Top Ten Best Fruits?!

Question: What are the Top Ten Best Fruits?
In compiling your list what were the most important factors?

I'm interested in knowing if you considered: Glycemic Index, Anti-Oxidant Content, Calories, "Sugar" Content, Vitamin Content or something else.

Not at all interested in how they taste... Or, what one's 'favorites' would be...

I'm thinking such a list based solely on Glycemic Index would be considerably different from one that is based on Calories, for example.

I'm even more interested in knowing if it is possible to construct a list of the Top Ten Best Fruits that would suit the health preferences of a majority of people.

I'd also prefer the list be based on what is available at Walmart, or the average supermarket in America. That takes in a lot of fruit since America's fruit comes from all over the world. This should not preclude a non-American from responding, at least I hope I haven't created that impression...

Thank you for your input...

Health wise, it depends.
For a person severely lacking in iron, then raisins would be great for them.

However, to someone suffering from a lack of potassium, bananas would be the best fruit for them.

Dehydrated people should eat watermelon, as it's mainly water, whilst diabetics may prefer strawberries due to its low GI.

Constipated people need prunes and apples, whilst someone (like me) looking for taste, would go for kiwi and put pineapples on my pizza.

There is simply no such thing as a best fruit. Fruit is amazing, naturally grown in the way it is. There are so many different uses for fruits, they all have different qualities. And different people need or desire it for different things.

Thus, the 'best fruit' may only be based on an opinion unless a certain topic is specified :)
