How can I spice up a dish with ground turkey and lentil soup?!

Question: How can I spice up a dish with ground turkey and lentil soup?
I'm low on supply and am trying to get creative in making a dish using ground turkey and lentil soup. Anyone have any great ideas how I can create a great dinner using these simple ingredients?

Answers:

Season your ground turkey with lots of kosher salt, fresh ground pepper, red pepper flakes, and your choice of cumin and chili powder,or fresh oregano and basil, or sage (not all three!). Consider adding some parmesan cheese to the meat to add some flavor as well. If you want meatballs, roll in to 1 inch balls and brown in hot olive oil. Add to lentil soup and simmer until heated thru. Serve over rice. When I use turkey with cumin and chili powder, I add a squeeze or two of fresh lime to the soup base as well as a little sour cream for richness. Good luck!
