Moist Healthy Banana Bread Recipe?!

Question: Moist Healthy Banana Bread Recipe?
If I put less flour than a recipe for banana bread calls for, will it taste that bad? It calls for like 2 cups or 1 3/4 and I think that it too much and too unhealthy. And same with sugar, i rather put no sugar since the bananas are sweet already. Please do not suggest oats or whole wheat flour, I do not have any. Also, if you have any recipes for most yummy banana bread tell me! Thanks so much!

Answers:

Be careful when you alter the amount of flour, oftentimes this can make the bread not set up right. As for the sugar its ok to add a little bit less. You could use applesauce instead of the oil/butter/shortening this would add to the sweetness and is better for you than these fatty ingredients. Or, I like to do half the amount of oil and then substitute the rest with orange juice. Then whent the bread is just about done I pour just a little more orange juice over the top and continue to bake till its done. This makes it really moist and good. Most of my banana bread recipes are pretty unhealthy but these are a few better tips for this bread.

Use wholemeal flour it is good for fibre and very nutritious
