Anyone have any 100 calorie smoothie recipes?!
Answers:
Oh yes. I love this smoothie. It is super healthy, tasty and I drink it all the time in the summer. My boyfriend loves it too. It is very thick though so I usually eat it mostly with a spoon. It's also very filling.
In my food processor /blender I put a small chunk of peeled fresh ginger (the best/most efficient source of antioxidants in existence-- truly), to this I add some sort of liquid to allow it to blend completely. Juice would be a slightly higher calorie option, even if it's a small amount (1/4 C), but if I do that I try to pick something natural that's actually juice.
To all of this I add about 5 g each frozen peaches and strawberries, as well as some low-fat keffir (yogurt drink) 240 g is 110 calories which, if you don't use juice, will be almost all of the calories.
This is an analysis of the recipe from www.nutritiondata.com which is two servings, 107 calories each.

1/2 to 2/3 cup Raspberries, or a type of berry that you prefer. (about 35-40 calories)
Nonfat yogurt, any flavor you want, but I like vanilla or maybe something to match my choice of berry (60 calories)
Just a little bit of juice, low sugar one! (10 calories)
Hope I helped! :D
