Is enameled cast iron reactive to vinegar?!

Question: Is enameled cast iron reactive to vinegar?
Making a recipe that wants me to marinade some meat for a few days in a vinegar mixture in a non-reactive container.. Would my enameled cast iron dutch oven work?

Answers:

I wouldn't do it. It would probably be okay, but it might not. Might depend on the condition of the enamel. Glass, stainless or even plastic would be a much better choice

It all depends on the enamel pan you are using. Most brands of enamel cast iron is a porcelain coated enamel so there is no problem.

I would be cautious to marinate meat that long in a vinegar marinade, but it will not affect the cast iron pan.
