What do you expect of a cashier?!
Answers:
I would asked her to insert the handler discount on the register, and when she asked what.
Say you tossed my sh*t like a red headed step child, and I want a discount, or to speak to your supervisor.
I mean seriously, that kind of thing can pass once, if say, the person is having a bad day, but more than once, and it's time to fix the situation, and if that means the person gets fired, so be it.
You work in costumer service, you do just that.
If you can't deal with customers, you don't belong in that service.
I worked at a gas station for almost four years, I loved it, the costumers where my reason to wake up.
I had bad days, but the regulars knew when I was in a bad mood, we connected.
Sounds like she either hates her job to the point that she doesn't care at all, or she has a problem with you personally, either way, it sounds bad.
Go up to the front desk and complain.
seriously? How rude. I know that customer service jobs suck but when you work in customer service you need to be happy even if you aren't' and I agree with you it's your food they don't need to throw it like it's nothing..especially since she was like this before with you I'd voice concern with the manager.
Yes, I would agree that the cashier was rude. I would call the supermarket and report to management of her actions. I have had this happen to me as well quite a few times. Nobody wants their dozen eggs smashed by the time it reaches the end of the roller.
A fed up shopper.
Yes it bugs me too.
Apples I choose without a bruise, get struck against the scanner like she's trying to kill a spider. I didn't complain. Once the bag opened and the fruit fell to the floor, they picked it up and said do you want this?
I said no. you can get their name and call the manager if something gets damaged but for a banana its hardly worth it. But then again, that's the one that becomes manager.
very rude, indeed! if i were you, i would have reported that cashier to their manager! or reprimand her at least and raise an eyebrow! you deserve respect!
