how to make lemonade from scratch?!

Question: How to make lemonade from scratch?
How do you make lemonade from lemons, water, ect

Answers:

This is the way my grandmother taught me. My wife does it similarly but uses lemon concentrate like RealLemon.

All you need are lemons, water and sugar in the proportions of 1:1:1

i.e., squeeze lemons to get 1 cup of juice (about six lemons)
Dissolve 1 cup of sugar in 1 cup of hot water and stir until all of the sugar is dissolved.
Now add the lemon juice and mix well.
Pour into your pitcher.
Add 3-4 cups of cold water to dilute it to taste.

If it is too sweet for you, reduce the sugar to 3/4 of a cup, etc.

Here's my favorite way:

Juice some lemons and collect the juice in a straight sided jar. Pour enough agave syrup to come half way up from the bottom of the jar to the level of the juice, a 1:1 ratio. The syrup will sink to the bottom and the juice will set on top. Give it a shake until the syrup completely dissolves in the juice. Dilute this mixture with 3-4 parts (to your liking) water. Serve over some ice with a lemon slice as a garnish.

Conventionally, simple syrup (boiled water and sugar) would be used in place of the agave syrup. I like agave syrup because it is just as sweet but is low glycemic making it a healthier alternative:

Lemon juice and sugar, maybe some water, but that would kill the whole fresh taste if over filled.

Carrot juice is best, great taste, punches you in the face with your taste buds.
It takes a ton of carrots to produce a cup though, but it's great, the reason I love V8 Fusion, you can taste the carrot, I hate V8, cause I don't like drinking tomato.
