Will a marinated lamb shank be fine today despite its use by date being yesterday?!

Question: Will a marinated lamb shank be fine today despite its use by date being yesterday?
Answers:

A Use by and Best before date is generally specified because the provider has no control over the storage or cooking of their products once sold.
So depending on how you stored it prior to marinating and providing you cook it well and are not serving to a very young child or ill person, I see no cause for alarm.

It all depends on where its been stored and at what temperature.
Even up to date meat that has not been properly cared for will spoil way
before their expired dates.

If it's been kept in the fridge it will be fine.

yes, it will be fine.
