How to create a cupcake recipe?!
I'm an aspiring cupcake shop owner when I'm older and I want to create original recipes. I know just how I want to flavor some of my ideas. I was just wondering the ratio of the ingredients. For example, if I want to make a dozen cupcakes, how much dry ingredients and wet ingredients should I have? Does this make sense? If I'm not being clear, tell me because I have a tendency to do this a lot haha. Thanks in advance.

If you want to change the flavor of cupcakes, take the basic recipe and don't change the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, eggs, or shortening. If you mess with those, the cupcakes won't rise properly.
Change the flavoring. Instead of vanilla extract, put lemon extract. Or whatever you want to put that makes it your special recipe.
