How to make shamrock shaped meringues?!

Question: How to make shamrock shaped meringues?
I want to make meringues for St. Patrick's Day, and I'm wondering, is there a way I can shape them into shamrocks/clovers?

Answers:

I have made shaped meringues and this is what I did: I cut a piece of parchment paper the size of my cookie sheet, then drew the shapes I wanted 1 1/2" apart on one side of the paper in sharpie. you can trace a cardboard cutout, use a cookie cutter, or freehand. then flip your parchment paper over so the drawn-on side is facing down and touching the cookie sheet. Place your meringue batter into a piping bag fitted with a large round tip, then trace the shape and fill it in. I made hearts and didn't fill them to use as cupcakes picks, and one year did a meringue skeleton where I assembled all the bone pieces on a tray of raspberry sauce. so good, and so festive. hope this helps! oh, and make sure to add your food dye before whipping the egg whites. I prefer gel food dye (like Wilton) because I have had bad experiences with the liquid type.

Put your meringue mix in a piping bag with a wide tip and pipe the shamrock/clover shape onto your baking tray. Meringues don't rise, so if the mixture is made properly, it will hold its shape while baking.
