why can you drink milk 7 days after expiration date?!
Answers:
you can if its not spoiled.
Because a food is past the expiration date does not automatically mean it is spoiled.
Milk can spoil long before the expiration date.
Would you drink it anyway, if it tasted awful but the out date was not for another week?
Of course not.
Same with drinking it if it tastes fine.
USe your senses, your nose for starters.
Spoiled milk will stink.
its usually a sell by date and not an expiration date plus it is just an estimation on when it might start to taste off.... the best way is always just to taste it and trust your taste buds

Because the expiration date is just an estimated thing, it's never really precise.
Also because it takes way longer to grow mold on dairy products.
I don't know why, though.
Sometimes the milk carton is marked with a "sell by" date and not a "use by" date. So the product is still good even after it was supposed to be sold.
Expiration dates are for store use....It has to be pulled by that date...........Milk can spoil before or after that date....I have kept milk a week or more past that date...and it was still good...
*Hope this helps*....................
never tried it, but wouldn't advise it.
