Challenge: Can you feed a family of 4 for under $15?!

Question: Challenge: Can you feed a family of 4 for under $15?
I don't mean "is it possible?" I'm asking if you can do it. If so, what would you feed them? For the exercise let's say 2 adults, 2 children.

I've vaguely estimated prices, obviously things could be cheaper or more expensive - I personally look out for specials when I'm shopping, not only does it make it easier to manage the budget but you can surprisingly come up with some really different and tasy meal ideas.

I'm assuming you mean one meal, but you didn't say so. I could feed them spaghetti with tomato/meat sauce and a salad. I could give them some nice home made vegetable or chicken soup made with leftover chicken, home made bread and some cheese. They could have omelets and home made bread. They could have shepherd's pie. They could have more home made soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. Unless all these people eat like horses, they'll be full after any of those. They could have a stew. A home made pudding could be dessert with any of it, maybe with some canned fruit if fresh wasn't cheap enough. Pickles on the side for some meals.

1 small 3 lb frying chicken, 3 baking potatoes, 1 bunch of broccoli, 4 carrots. Salt and pepper. Water

Roast the chicken for an hour and a half, cut up and roast the potatoes at the same time in the pan with the chicken, steam the broccoli and carrots for 10 minutes.

Chef/Mom/Grandma

bag of frozen mixed veggies family size 4.50. hawaiian sweet rolls for 2.50. and already prepared rotisserie chicken for 5 - 7 bucks. and then 1 dollar per pound watermelon if you have the extra money.

You can get a bunch of chicken for $10 and loads of veggies for $5. In my case I don't eat meat anyway so it would be $12 for veggies and $3 for melted cheese on top.

4-5 pound Chuck roast from a CLUB outlet (they always have the best meat by the way) should come to about 9-10$
the rest is veggies rice, seasonings and potato's

I do it all the time (just not for 4 people)

The tacos smelled exactly the same, and gave me intense, violent, burning $hits, it felt like adult size eels crawling out of my anus...eel diarrhea...

Boiled or Poached Eggs - Very good for you.
