What can i cook using sausage meat?!


Question: What can i cook using sausage meat?
I have been given quite a bit of sausage meat and don't know what to cook with it!

Any suggestions?

Ingredients

* 1 tsp butter, heaped
* 1 small onion, diced
* 1 eating apples
* 225 g pork sausage meat
* 100 g fresh white breadcrumbs
* 1 sprig thyme, leaves removed
* 1 pinches grated nutmeg
* 2 tbsp chopped parsley
* 0.5 lemons, juice

Method

Heat the butter in a saucepan. Add the onions and soften over a low heat without colouring. Stir in the apples and continue cooking until they are just beginning to lose their shape. Remove the pan from the heat and set aside to cool.

Stir in the sausage meat, breadcrumbs, thyme, nutmeg and parsley. Squeeze in the lemon juice and beat well for about a minute to blend everything together.

Use this stuffing to fill a turkey before roasting, or you can bake it separately in an ovenproof dish. Bake at 180C/gas4 for about 25 minutes and serve hot with roast meats.



Sausage Stew

* 1 1/2 pounds veal or pork sausages
* 3/4 pounds sweet Italian sausages

* 4 onions, sliced
* 2 bell peppers, chopped
* 6 garlic cloves, chopped
* 1 cup dry white wine
* 1 pound boiling potatoes, peeled, cubed
* 1 16-ounce can stewed tomatoes
* 1 14 1/2-ounce can chicken broth
* 1/4 cup tomato paste
* 1 10-ounce package frozen green beans
* 1 teaspoon dried oregano, crumbled
* 1 teaspoon dried basil, crumbled
* 1 teaspoon dried marjoram, crumbled
* 1 cup shredded mozzarella
* 1 cup shredded cheddar
* 1/4 cup grated Parmesan print a shopping list for this recipe
Preparation
Heat heavy 4-quart saucepan over medium-high heat. Add sausages and cook until brown, turning occasionally, about 30 minutes. Transfer sausages to plate; cool slightly. Cut into 1-inch pieces.
Remove all but 2 tablespoons fat from saucepan. Add onions to saucepan and sauté over medium heat until tender, about 15 minutes. Add bell peppers and garlic and continue cooking until bell peppers just begin to soften, about 5 minutes. Pour in wine and boil 1 minute. Add potatoes, tomatoes, broth and tomato paste. Simmer until potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes. Stir in green beans, sausages and herbs. Cover and cook 15 minutes. Add all cheeses and stir.



ingredients:
2 cups of sausage meat
2 teaspoons of oil
pepperoni
peppers
2-3 cans of chopped tomato's
salt and pepper
basil
pasta (any shape)
parmesan
cheddar cheese
what to do:
add the oil and sausage to a pan and fry then add chopped pepper's
pepperoni and tomato's, let it simmer for a couple of mins then add 1-2 cups
of grated cheddar cheese then add cooked but not fully pasta and salt an pepper
leave till its fully cooked then sprinkle over chopped basil and parmesan.

You can cook pasta, and sear the sausage in a searing pan, and then pour in your favorite marinara sauce (into the searing pan) and leave it there for about...5 minutes. Then you pour the pasta onto a serving plate and the marinara sauce/sausage mixture on top. (:

YOu can use it in almost any recipe using ground beef as a replacement to the ground beef or mix the two together.
