9x5 loaf pan instead of 7x3?!

Question: 9x5 loaf pan instead of 7x3?
My recipe calls for two 7x3 loaf pan but I have one 9x5 loaf pan can I pour all my batter into that one loaf pan or is it going to go over the top? I'm making banana bread and I have never made it before so I don't know how much it rises. Thanks.

Answers:

use the 9 x 5.... the bread wont rise too much you might just have to alter the cooking time since it is all in one pan instead of two

A 9x5 is a little bit bigger than 2 7x3s so the batter will actually be a little shallower in the pan not deeper.

It will take longer to bake. Make sure you give it the toothpick test.

banana bread doesn't rise that much, its like a pound cake.

its small
