Eating banana bread left out all night?!

Question: Eating banana bread left out all night?
I made some nice banana bread and then forgot to cover it. It was in a house (63 degrees) overnight. It is OK to eat it today? I imagine our forebears didn't always cover baked goods and survived, but nowadays apparently everything is dangerous.

Answers:

It will be ok.You could even put it in the toaster for a minute or two and then put butter on it.You may have to cut a thin slice off the end,you could feed the birds or squirrels with it.Have a cup of tea or coffee with it and enjoy!

Yes, you can eat it. Sugar acts as a preservative, that's why we don't usually refrigerate our cookies. I wouldn't leave it out longer, but one night isn't going to make it spoil.

I leave my banana bread on counter all the time albeit it is covered with a cake dome but if it hasnot molded or otherwise appear bad should be okay . I often reheat and melt butter on a slice or add some peanut butter.

judging by the way in which you phrased your question,I wouldn't recommended eating it only cause one never knows what the outcome can be

Banana bread dpes not need to be kept int he fridge. And the only reason to coeris becuase of it drying out.

'sfine! Eat it. The ned slice might have dried out a tad, and if so, slather with a bigger knob of butter.

I think it is fine to eat it...as long as no "pests" have nibbled on it.
