Why do some of my sprouts sour?!
I've been doing sprouts for a few months, and some of them are prone to souring, esp millet. I use a mason jar and cheesecloth across the top and rinse and drain them twice/day. Is the problem that I am not draining them enough, or not rinsing them often enough, or rinsing them too often?

I would suggest that jar is not sterile to begin with or that water is contaminated with chemicals if not using distilled or boiled water.
