What makes buns mold faster?!?!

Question: What makes buns mold faster?!?
I'm doing a project for an art presentation for the museum. Its anything to do with time, and not necessarily a clock. What i'm doing is buns on a plate. Hah my art teacher thought it would be fierce. But i wanna know what will make the buns mold faster? In a bag or outside a bag? and I need to know quick!
Thank you :)

Answers:

In a bag - warm and moist conditions will encourage mould. Put a bit of soil in the bottom of the bag to introduce spores to make it even faster.

ummm last time i did a project on liquids that mold bread faster and my result was milk molds faster out of oj water and i forgot the last one...

Mold grows best in warm (not hot) damp dark places so in a paper bag on the kitchen counter would work... make sure to add some moisture.

I think it is the air, so my guess open or outside of a bag
