Question: Anyone gotsem good recipees fer cookin Roadkill?
Been boilin what I finds, but em hopin for sumpin a lil more gastronomicle.

Answers:

Boilin' er up is prit near the best way to do it. If yer in the mood to climb a notch on the 'ol spice ladder try addin lots a salt, it'l help kill the grease a bit too. If ya can't git it and yer lucky enough to live in the salt belt try scrapin' some up from the road. But do it down yonder a ways so as to not attract the staties After all's said and done and yeh git er boilin' away try spittin' a coupla loads of 'baccy in yer pot. Boil er up for another half hour, dole it out and have at it. This is prit near funny

You reminded me of my botany graduate assistant/lab instructor in college about a thousand years ago. She carried a thermometer in her car and when she came across something dead in the road, she would take the temperature of the flesh. I never got the details, but if the temperature was 'okay' (whatever that was!), it went into the cooler she kept in the back of her car & she would cook it when she got home. So - I know you were being funny in a slam-the-hillbilly sort of way, but there are educated (although I don't know how SMART!) people out there who do eat roadkill. Go figure.

If this is supposed to be funny, it is NOT.
