How to use ricotta cheese with lasagna?!
Answers:
I just put it into the casserole straight from the container.
I do cook the pasta first though, before constructing the casserole.

Here's my mom's recipe if you're interested. It's the only lasagna I like...
1 container of ricotta
1 onion, minced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 pkg of the no cook lasagna noodles
1 lb ground beef
1 large jar of good marinara sauce (or homemade)
1 lb shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup of grated parm cheese
Preheat the oven to the temp on the box of noodles. In a large fry pan add 1 tbsp oil, the onion and garlic. Heat to medium low. Add the beef and cook fully. Place the ricotta in a big bowl and add the meat mixture. Mix well. In a 13 x 9 inch baking dish ladle a scoop of sauce. Add the noodles, then beef mixture, a ladle of sauce and a good handful of the mozzarella cheese. Keep layering until you get to the top of the dish, ending with the mozzarella. Add the parm cheese, cover with foil and cook according to the box (of lasagna noodles). During the last 20 minutes take the foil off.
Take the ricotta straight from the container, mix with one beaten egg, about 1/2 a cup shredded italian cheese, and parsley. Use the mixture raw.
Don't cook it first, it melts beautifully when in the lasagna.
Straight from the container. Are you following a recipe?
