How do noodles not get soggy in canned soup?!

Question: How do noodles not get soggy in canned soup?
Just a random thought but how do they not get soggy even though they have been sitting in water for a long time.

Answers:

They use egg noodles for canned soup. Because theprotein in the egg keeps the noodle from falling apart.

They are soggy. Compare a freshly cooked peice of spaghetti to something out of a can. There IS no comparison.

lots and lots of preservatives. lol
